Forum De Paris

Entity: Forum De Paris
Project Type: Non Core
Duration of Support: 4 years (2005 - 2008)

The Forum de Paris, founded in January 2004, is an international conference whose main aim is to stimulate dialogue and to promote an exchange and confrontation of ideas.

Forum members include policy makers, politicians, company directors, university lecturers, bankers, journalists and the non-profit sector, who are all convinced that it is not just desirable - but vitally important - to establish a permanent structure for dialogue.

During the first International Euro-Mediterranean Forum at UNESCO, many company directors, scientists, university lecturers, teachers and journalists demonstrated their desire to offer a common platform for the peoples of Europe and the Mediterranean in order to lay the foundations of a circuit of exchanges, and make a "place for progress" a part of the program for moving forward.
